Important: Pragma is licensed, not sold. By downloading, installing, signing in to, or using Pragma, you accept this End User License and the Pragma Terms of Service.

1. License Grant

CredVault grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the compiled Pragma desktop application on devices you own or control, only for your permitted personal, team, or business use under your active plan.

This license covers the app, updates, documentation, and related Pragma services. It does not transfer ownership of Pragma, its source code, trademarks, models, infrastructure, or service logic to you.

2. What You Can Do

  • Install and run Pragma on supported Windows, macOS, and Linux devices.
  • Use Pragma to write, edit, review, and manage your own code and projects.
  • Use Pragma AI features according to your active plan and usage limits.
  • Use Pragma in your organization when your account or plan permits team or business use.
  • Keep reasonable backup copies of installers only for your own installation and recovery needs.

3. What You Cannot Do

  • Copy, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, redistribute, or host Pragma for third parties without written permission.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, bypass, or create derivative works from Pragma except where law expressly allows it.
  • Remove copyright, trademark, license, security, telemetry, billing, or plan enforcement notices.
  • Use Pragma to build or train a competing product or service.
  • Use automation, multiple accounts, shared credentials, or device masking to bypass usage limits, seats, trials, payments, or rate limits.
  • Use Pragma for malware, credential theft, unauthorized access, fraud, spam, harassment, or illegal activity.

4. Accounts, Seats, and Plans

Some Pragma features require a CredVault account, subscription, team seat, or enterprise agreement. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

Free, trial, and promotional access can be limited, changed, suspended, or revoked where we detect abuse, payment failure, fraud, or attempts to bypass plan limits.

5. Updates and Availability

Pragma may update automatically or ask you to install updates. Updates may add, remove, or change features to improve security, compatibility, performance, billing accuracy, or user experience.

Cloud-backed features, AI providers, billing systems, authentication, and release channels may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, incidents, third-party provider issues, or network conditions.

6. Your Code and Content

You keep ownership of your code, prompts, files, and generated outputs. You grant CredVault only the limited rights needed to operate Pragma, process your requests, provide support, enforce security, and improve the service as described in the Pragma Terms and Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to submit code, prompts, logs, repository context, or other content to Pragma and any enabled AI provider.

7. AI Features

AI-generated suggestions can be wrong, insecure, incomplete, or unsuitable for production. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, securing, and validating all AI output before using it.

Pragma may connect to third-party AI providers. Those providers may have their own terms, data processing rules, availability limits, and safety policies.

8. Third-Party Components

Pragma includes third-party open source components. Their notices and licenses remain in effect. This Pragma license does not reduce any rights you may have under those separate third-party licenses.

9. Termination

This license ends if you violate it, lose access to your account or plan, or stop using Pragma. After termination, you must stop using Pragma and remove unauthorized copies from your devices.

10. Warranty Disclaimer and Liability

Pragma is provided "as is" and "as available" except where a separate written enterprise agreement says otherwise. To the maximum extent allowed by law, CredVault disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages.

11. Governing Law

This license is governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
